One beautiful September evening, ZuZu started running in circles around me, so I couldn't resist snapping a motion image of her as she made another pass. You can see she's pretty happy about this, even though it was a little dizzying for me.

Golden retrievers love their toys and treasures, and eventually they'll end up fetching and bringing what seems like the whole pile over to you . . .

Spring came our way a few days ago, but you wouldn't know it by looking outside. We got several inches of snow, and the girls were very excited. None more so than ZuZu who absolutely loves to run and roll in the snow. It's clear, ZuZu loves the March snows!

Paczki loves the snow, and after doing a couple of snow angels she walks around until she can get her sisters to run, chase and do some faux fighting . . .

Golden retrievers Paczki and ZuZu love being out in the polar vortex a heck of a lot more than we do, but it's so much fun to watch them. This morning was around 10 degrees with about 7 inches of fresh snow: a perfect morning! And off they go . . .

Will Rogers said it best, "If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went." When I see the joy in our goldens as they run and chase each other around, I sometimes think that instead of streets of gold, I'd just as soon be surrounded by our goldens . . .
