The girls spent a good amount of time outside on this gorgeous September day. It was one of those days where the heat had finally broken and the sky was deep blue, air was crisp, and the grass was bright green from recent rains and sunshine.
They had gathered under the shade to rest for a spell, so I rounded them up for a quick pic. My wife is the one who usually does the sitting and staying for our portrait photos, but since she was away for a while, I used a shorter lens and tried to get them to pose on my own.
They did pretty good, and seemed downright happy about it. So we have a new command: Sit and Smile!
