When the July sun is beating down and the girls need a good freshening up, sometimes we’ll get the hose out and give them a good shampoo and rinsing. For the most part, they’re pretty good about the whole process. We’ll do them one at a time, and after each one gets a quick toweling off, they will go and plop down and do bicycles in the grass (of course – gotta get this awful smell off!).
ZuZu is the easy one to dry, Ginger is not too bad, but Paczki – oh my goodness. This one has so much fur and undercoat, it takes forever for her to dry. Even the groomer says she has never seen a dog with such a coat. But that’s what makes her a big fluffy furball who you just have to hug.
And so it is with spa day with Trog’s Dogs, another wonderful adventure!
