At nine weeks old, and still a little munchkin, it was time to get Ginger used to posing with the pack. She was getting the sit and stay okay, but there was not a lot of sitting or staying at this age . . .

Golden retrievers love their toys and treasures, and eventually they'll end up fetching and bringing what seems like the whole pile over to you . . .

Daisy was taking a nap on her favorite pillow, and little Ginger jumped up and snuggled up right next to her big sister . . .

Our golden retriever puppy Ginger found her way to a bed of flowers and couldn't decide between chewing them all or giving them a smell. Fortunately, she decided to just give them a sniff . . . this time!

When you approach Paczki and she sees you coming, sometimes she doesn't give you the standard golden smile right away. What happens is that her eyes get all squinty . . .

As a therapy dog, Paczki not only visits a local hospital (Northwestern Community) to visit patients, she also visits local elementary schools as part of the Reading with Rover program . . .

On this Memorial day, we pray that God Blesses our fallen heroes and their families.

There's nothing like a beautiful Spring day after a long, cold winter. Grass is green and skies are blue, the flowers are blooming and birds are singing, and the goldens are in full smile mode. What a wonderful, glorious day!
